Save the Date for Vermont's 17th Annual Dance and Drum Festival, Nov 3-6, 2011

Jeh Kulu Dance and Drum Theater invites you to enjoy 4 days and nights of West African dance and music in Burlington, Vermont! .



Our festival includes internationally renowned artists from Guinea, Senegal and Congo teaching workshops in Djembe, Sabar, and Kutiro. Highlights inlcude Balafon, Krin and Women’s Sangban classes as well as an evening concert featuring Jeh Kulu with special guest artists, and dance party at a local Burlington club.

Woh Dinye Mahmadi

A classic story of redemption and forgiveness told through traditional West African Drum and Dance. A young woman returns to her home village, where she makes many mistakes, and eventually finds acceptance from those who love her. A show for all ages.
