We had a Terrific 4 days
and nights of West African
Dance and Music in
Burlington, Vermont!
Our festival includes internationally renowned
artists from Guinea, Senegal and Mali teaching
workshops in Djembe, Sabar, and Kuitro.
Highlights inlcude Balafon, Krin and Women’s
Sangban classes as well as an evening concert
fearturing Jeh Kulu with special guest artists, and
dance party at a local Burlington club.

Registration: Payment must be received by the pre-registration date to get discounted prices!
A $15 fee will be charged for cancellations.Accomodations: Available at the Sheraton Hotel for a discounted rate of $99. Call (802) 865-6630 or email

African Marketplace: Vendor Space is available. Please call Autumn at (802) 324-0850.
* Please bring drums and percussion instruments - limited rental possibilities.** No video or audio recording allowed without explicit permission of the instructor.
Directions:(From Rte. 7) Take Rte. 7 North towards Burlington. In town, at the fork in the
road stay left. Rte 7 will become St. Paul Street. Take a right onto Main St. City Hall is the
big white building on the left next to the park, on the corner of Main and Church Streets.
Memorial Auditorium is 2 blocks up Main St. on the left at the corner of Main and So.
Union .
(From Interstate 89) Take exit 14W. Follow the road off the exit ramp (Main St.) into town.
Memorial Auditorium is on the right at the corner of Main and So. Union and City hall is 2
blocks down on the right at the corner of Main and Church. There is a parking garage on
the corner of Bank and S. Winooski and parking meters are free on Sundays.
